Dr. Phoenix graduated from Duke University with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minors in Psychology and Chemistry. To receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, he attended Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, from which he graduated with Honors in 2005. His interest in research and passion for orthodontics persuaded him to stay at Case Western Reserve University to complete his orthodontics residency with Master of Dental Science degree. While in school, Dr. Phoenix actively participated in research and received many awards, including Achievement in Research and the prestigious American Dental Association scholarship.
Dr. Phoenix’s commitment to the specialty of Orthodontics is exemplified by his active membership in American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Washington County Dental Society. Devoted lover of the outdoors, Dr. Phoenix moved to Oregon in 2007. His many interests include hiking, camping, volunteering, photography, and composing music.
